Psychology Fees
Gumboots Psychology operates with one simple, flat fee for all psychology sessions, regardless of referral type.
Standard Psychology Session (50 minutes):
$222.99 per session
This fee applies to:
Private clients
Medicare (Mental Health Treatment Plan) clients
NDIS (self-managed and plan-managed) participants
Telehealth sessions (all sessions are online)
If you have a valid Mental Health Treatment Plan from your GP, you may be eligible for a Medicare rebate per session.
Session fee: $222.99
Medicare rebate: $98.95 processed after the appointment
Gap fee: $124.04
For NDIS participants:
Fees are $222.99 per session
We accept self-managed and plan-managed NDIS clients
Invoices can be sent to the participant or plan manager, as arranged
Payment is required on the day of the appointment
A 48-hour cancellation policy applies
Late cancellations or non-attendance may incur the full session fee of $222.99

Cancellations
This form allows individuals to apply for the Financial Disadvantage Scheme, which provides a limited number of reduced-fee places for clients experiencing financial hardship. The scheme is designed to improve access to psychological support for those who may otherwise be unable to afford services.
Due to the limited availability of places, applications are assessed on a case-by-case basis. Submitting this form does not guarantee acceptance into the scheme. Applicants may be asked to provide additional information to help determine eligibility. If a place becomes available and your application is successful, you will be contacted to discuss the next steps. If no places are currently available, you may be placed on a waiting list or offered alternative options where possible.
