What We Offer
We offer a range of services to meet the needs of every client.
-
We support parents of neurodivergent children to better understand diagnoses, strengths, and support needs. Our work focuses on practical strategies for home and school, navigating systems and advocacy, and building confidence in neuro-affirming parenting. Together, we aim to reduce overwhelm and help families create environments where children feel understood, supported, and able to thrive.
-
We provide evidence-based psychological support for adolescents and adults accessing therapy under a Mental Health Care Plan. Sessions are tailored to each person’s needs and may support concerns such as anxiety, mood difficulties, stress, life transitions, emotional regulation, and neurodivergence. Our approach is collaborative, trauma-informed, and strengths-based, creating a supportive space to build insight, skills, and lasting change.

Gumboots Psychology offers NDIS-funded psychological therapy as a non-registered provider for participants who are self-managed or plan-managed. This service supports children, adolescents, and adults with emotional regulation, mental health, neurodivergence, and functional wellbeing goals aligned with an individual’s NDIS plan.
As a non-registered provider, we are unable to work with NDIA-managed plans. Therapy focuses on capacity building, skill development, and improving daily functioning rather than crisis or primary medical treatment. We can support participants with therapeutic intervention, collaborative goal planning, school or stakeholder communication (with consent), and written reports where clinically appropriate.
Our approach is neuro-affirming, trauma-informed, and strengths-based, with clear communication around scope, fees, and NDIS requirements to ensure services remain ethical, transparent, and participant-centred.
